We researched the product and service categories that would be covered by the confederation, assessed the volume and value of the purchases that would be within the remit of the confederation and identified the staffing needs and costs of setting up and running the confederation. We then prepared the business case and submitted this for approval.

The objective of the assignment was to ensure a coordinated approach to the introduction of e.procurement across all trusts within the authority.
